Element Everest-Blanks
Element is a visionary cultural architect redefining how the world experiences Black creativity, storytelling, and sound.
As Program Director of HYFIN, Milwaukee’s trailblazing Black music and culture platform under Radio Milwaukee, Element stands among the fewer than 1% of Black women leading a media outlet in the United States. A two-time Telly Award winner, Grammy-voting member, and Recording Academy Advocacy and Content Creator Committee member, she’s a trusted voice at the intersection of culture, equity, and artistry in today’s global media landscape.
Element moves fluidly between the mic and the main stage, bridging artists, audiences, and institutions to spark transformation. Her work doesn’t just entertain; it elevates how communities see themselves and how the world experiences Black culture.
The Intersection of Culture, Media & Impact
As a Amplifier In Residence for the Marcus Performing Arts Center, a member of both the Visit Milwaukee and NIVA (National Independent Venue Association) I.D.E.A. Committees, and a national advocate for music equity, Element embodies what it means to build bridges between legacy institutions and modern creative movements.
Her mission: to amplify underrepresented voices, expand creative access, and redefine leadership through culture. Whether she’s curating experiences, moderating global panels, or delivering a keynote that challenges convention, Element brings an unmistakable mix of authority, artistry, and authenticity to every room she enters.
